Welcome to Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport (TPL), located in Temple TX. Draughon-Miller is a modern, award winning aviation facility operated by the city of Temple. The airport is considered one of Temple's most vital assets. It is recognized as a major role in the stability of Central Texas' economy and future. To ensure fuel quality, the city is the sole retail fuel operation on the field. A great deal of money has been invested in getting and maintaining the best fuel equipment as well as a well trained, certified staff.
The airport has 4 mobile fuel trucks; 2 for 100LL and 2 for Jet A all capable of over the wing or single point refueling. The airport has three above ground fuel storage tanks 1 12,000 gallon tank designated for 100LL and 2 12,000 gallon tanks for Jet A. The airport is proud to serve our military customers under a Defense Fuel Military Fuel Contract.
The airport's fuel storage and quality control procedures were recently inspected by the FAA, Defense Department and Exxon. The airport passed all stringent inspections with flying colors! The airport also conducts its own daily fuel system inspections to ensure the highest fuel standards are maintained.
