Whether you are looking for bargains, one of a kind works of art or antiques you won't be disappointed. Many shopping centers are located throughout the city. Enjoy shopping at trusted stores, such as Dillard's Department Store and JC Penny in the Temple Mall, or take in the locally owned specialty stores located in the downtown area and elsewhere.

For a refreshing alternative, visit the Community Market in downtown Temple. The market is held the second Saturday of every month from March through December. Starting at 9a.m.and ending at 3p.m. There you will find creative works of art by local artists, fresh jams and jellies, unique gift ideas and arts & crafts. Selections change often, so mark your calendar and come back often! Vendors are not required to reserve a place in advance, you may show up on the day of the Market with your $5.00 vendor fee.
